Puppies ---> Doggies

These pictures were taken at the month of May 2009. My two little puppies had grown up now. They are six months old now and very very active + naughty. Especially Monday (the orange colour doggy), always likes to jump at the kitchen window cos he wants attention and when he feels hungry. Sometimes he even triggered our house alarm system. Other than that, they are scared of dark. One night, the electricity suddenly cuts off, and guess what, they kept barking through the kitchen window, and hope that some1 will rescue them. I put a candle near the kitchen door....and they just slept there until the power restore. Haha!!! Poor doggy.

Chinese New Year Dishes

This is my grandpa and grandma during the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Its has been the second time we are having this new year lunch in my house since my grandma is too old to cook and my aunt's cooking is not as good as me and my sister. Haha!! Since me and my sis were the eldest grand children in the family, its our duty to take over the cooking and reunite all the family and relatives in this special season. Basic dishes, fish, pork, duck, chicken, tauhu, vege and soup. Me, my mom and my bro went to the wet market early in the morning to get the ingredients as fresh as possible. After that, me and my sis do the cooking for about two hours before our relatives arrived.

Rice Dumpling Festival

Every year, my mom will make rice dumpling during the Rice Dumpling Festival. It has become one of our family tradition. Of cos, the ingredients were passed on to my mom from my grandma and now, to me and my elder sister + younger brother. These were all the ingredients needed...of cos its non-halal. Hehe!! Sorry.... It took us 3 hours to wrap it...and then another 4 hours to boil it. We made a total of 160 numbers of rice dumplings. We used charcoal for the cooking for better taste + results. Anyway, I forgot to take the picture on the two big big pots which we used for the cooking. And....i forgot to take the picture of the cooked rice dumpling. Too eager to taste it and my relatives and friends were waiting at our door steps to 'dabao' the rice dumplings. So exhausted!!! Phew.....its been a tiring day especially my legs.
